Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Gaming Nexus Studios Ltd. (“TGN Studios”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use Summoner’s Nexus TCG through tgnstudios.uk, the Android application, the iOS application, or an authorised beta distribution channel.

Data we collect

  • Account and identity data: your email address, display name, provider account identifier, account state, and authentication/session records.
  • Game data: decks, collection and card state, progression, Story progress, ranked records, Guild activity, Nexuslocke state, virtual currency and item records, contest results, replays, and settings.
  • Device and security data: installation identifier, platform, app version, session and anti-replay records, IP address, browser/device information, security events, and diagnostic logs.
  • Notification data: push token, platform, installation association, registration timestamp, and notification-routing state. Full push tokens are not shown in ordinary administrative logs.
  • Support data: information you provide when requesting help or reporting a problem.

How we use data

We use this data to authenticate accounts; distinguish Sign In from Create Account; restore sessions; provide gameplay, progression and cross-device persistence; operate Guild, ranked, Story and Nexuslocke features; prevent fraud, abuse and replay; deliver requested notifications; provide account export and deletion; diagnose faults; and support the service.

Our legal bases include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required, including notification permission. You may disable notifications in your device settings and log out to revoke the active installation registration.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers only where needed to operate the service. These currently include Google Firebase for authentication and messaging, Google Sign-In, Hostinger and WordPress for the canonical website and server bridge, OpenAI Sites for the remotely loaded web application, Apple for iOS/TestFlight distribution, and Google Play for Android distribution. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a lawful corporate transaction.

We do not sell personal data. The current beta does not use third-party behavioural advertising and does not process card-payment details inside the application. If store purchases are enabled later, Apple or Google will process payment information under their own policies.

Cookies, local storage and remote content

The website and application use cookies or equivalent local storage for authentication, security, preferences, capability checks, and temporary caches. Durable account and gameplay state is stored server-side; local storage is not the system of record. The native applications are thin remote shells that load the approved HTTPS application and retain only the local loading, offline and error experience plus required native session and capability state.

Retention

We retain account and gameplay data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service. Push registrations are retired on logout, account switching, invalid-token detection or deletion. When you delete your account, product-owned profile and gameplay data is erased or de-identified, subject to limited retention of integrity-protected contest, replay, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, moderation, legal and audit records where necessary.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or erase your personal data. The Account area includes an export function. You can request deletion through the in-app Account area or the Summoner’s Nexus account-deletion page. You may also contact us using the support details below. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local supervisory authority.

Children

Summoner’s Nexus is not intended for children who cannot lawfully consent to the processing described here. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child without any consent required by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided data should contact us.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, protected server configuration, provider-managed authentication, scoped administration, signed application identities, and restricted diagnostic output. No system can guarantee absolute security. Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom; where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards.

Contact and changes

The data controller is The Gaming Nexus Studios Ltd. For privacy or support questions, email tsbabayemi@tgnstudios.uk or visit the support page.

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
